2. Provision of the website
When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular the IP address, time, requested page, browser and device information. This serves the secure and stable operation pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting and the database are operated by STRATO. Server logs may be generated.
3. Account and login
During registration, we process the email address, username, display name and a password stored exclusively as a hash. A profile text and profile image can be added optionally. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Bubbles and community content
PINUBBLE processes the bubbles, memberships, posts, images, comments, reactions, messages and reports you create. Public bubbles and posts may be visible to visitors and discoverable through search engines. Private and hidden bubbles are shown only to authorized members. Before uploading images, please ensure that depicted people have consented and that you hold the necessary rights. Images are reduced in size for mobile use and converted to a web format.
5. Messages and notifications
Chat messages are stored so they can be provided to the relevant participants. Notifications provide information about platform activity. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Moderation and security
To prevent misuse and review reported content, we process reports, affected content, user identifiers and required technical information. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and lawful operation of the community.
7. Cookies and sessions
PINUBBLE uses technically necessary session cookies for login, account security and CSRF protection. Protected account functions cannot be used without these cookies. They are not used to create advertising profiles.
8. Retention
Data is stored for as long as your account exists or it is required for the respective function. Statutory retention obligations and continued storage for establishing or defending legal claims remain unaffected. After account deletion, content may be removed or, where permitted and necessary, anonymized.
9. Recipients
Data is transferred to service providers only where required for hosting, operation, security or legal obligations. Personal data is not generally disclosed or sold.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with future effect. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
